Working for the Federal Government: Scientific Careers in Defense - June 28th

Reminder! This week CNSPY has a career panel on “Working for the Federal Government: Scientific Careers in Defense”. This panel will take place at 3:30PM on Friday, June 28th in Bass 305. If you are interested in attending the panel, please register, as space is limited:

This year the panel will include the following speakers:
1. Dr. Dana Perkins, PhD – United Nations Security Council
Attached you will find a paper recently published by Dr. Perkins about working as a microbiologist for the Army Reserves.
2. Dr. Wendy Hall - US Department of Homeland Security

Following the panel there will be a small group discussion and networking session focusing on transition from graduate/postdoctoral training into a government career in defense. In this discussion participants will have the opportunity to ask any relevant questions of the panelists in a more intimate setting. To facilitate more personal interactions, participation in this event is limited. If you would like to join us for this small group discussion, please send a CV and a short (<200 word) statement about your intended career path and how you anticipate benefiting from this discussion to meghan.kerrisk@yale.edu. The emails are due by Wednesday June 26th at 7PM and all selected participants will be notified the following day.
